Kiskunmajsa was basically an agricultural town until as late as the eighties, when a crucial change has occurred: during an oil boring, no hydrocarbon but rather the gold of the Great Plain, i.e. thermal water was discovered. Already at the beginning it was shown that thermal water has healing effect. This was the beginning of everything … and the developments are currently still going on.
